Canning-n-Freezing

Once again I will restate: "I'm not a professional just a mama trying to get food on the table." :) Hope you enjoy these posts about canning. If I find something good I'll pass it on. :) Note though that I'm pretty new to canning. I only started in the summer/fall of 2010. So far though I've canned tomato juice, pumpkin, green tomato relish (which is so yummy I can't wait to have them on hotdogs) and spicy pickled green tomatoes.

As far as Freezing I've done that for about 10 years now. Every deer season we put up as much ground deer meat as possible. We rarely ever it beef unless it a nice juicy steak. We just have a personal preference not to use ground beef because to us it taste SO greasy. But to each his own. Is there anything wrong with ground beef...certainly not. I'd use it if we didn't have any more deer. Again just a personal preference. We freeze lots of things: fruits, meals, etc...
