Holiday Cheese Ball

I love Cheese! For those familiar with Wallace and Gromit movies...

"Mmmm...Cheese Gromit!

1 8oz. Cream Cheese
1 c. Pecans, Chopped
1/4 t. garlic powder
1/4. paprika

Let both the cheeses set at room temperature (to make them easier to work with). Mix all cheeses, nuts, and paprika well with hands (great idea for kids). Roll into a ball, chill and roll in garlic powder or other toppings you'd like. I've even rolled it in more nuts. Mmm! Refrigerate and serve with crackers!

Peanut Butter Dip

For those who aren't allergic to peanuts! This post is a recipe and a thanks.
I am thankful that my family doesn't have a peanut allergy.  Someone very close to our family does a peanut allergy and Wow the things you have to look out for. I think her mother is a great woman for the ways she has been able to deal with this allergy. I'm also thankful that her mother has recently been able to put milk back into their diets. That's right, peanut AND milk allergy, not to mention eggs too. But God is a gracious God and has allowed that mother to revise her recipes to include milk again. God is great! So again for those who AREN'T allergic to peanuts:  A healthy, quick snack....




Apples and Peanut Butter Dip

Peanut Butter Dip Recipe
1 cup cultured plain yogurt
1/2 cup chunky/creamy peanut butter

Stir to combine. Try adding in some honey for sweetness.
