Just thought I'd say...
Kroger has OG apples often at around $1 per pound. They are kind of hard to find in the store, but are in the Organic Veggie section (usually tucked away in a corner). Often the price is not marked! You just have to go by what is in the Ad and make sure you get the right kind of apple. All the apples have stickers on them with the number for the apple.
Also, I know you don't have Costco there, but if you are ever traveling near a Costco or need an excuse to travel near a Costco (ahem) they have several OG items. Such as...
5 lb OG Mini-Carrots ~ $5
10 lb OG Carrots $5.00 (.50 per lb)
6 lb OG Brown Rice (grown in USA!) ~ $9.00 ($1.50 per lb)
2 lb OG Quinoa ~ $8 (?)
1 lb OG Spring Mix or Spinach (fresh) $4
4 lb OG Broccoli (frozen & huge florets) $6
5 lb OG Green Beans (frozen - whole) $6
They also have tons of OG tomato products (paste, diced, sauce, etc.), but I do not have the price on those.
OG Juice boxes for the kids too - Apple and Eve around $9 for 36 boxes.
I know Sam's has some stuff - like the mini-carrots that are OG. I don't know about much else there.
